Job Description

Job Summary: 

A Pricing Analyst for PTC Alliance must be able to support the commercial department in their efforts to grow product categories while balancing the need for profit and customer satisfaction. The primary objective of this position is to grow revenue and profits through the use of data.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: 

  • Assist in the development and maintenance of pricing agreements, rebate programs, and published pricing sheets.
  • Assist in reviewing existing price agreements and initiates price updates and recommendations.
  • Assist in price reviews and corrective actions where margins are below objectives.
  • Resolves pricing/margin questions or issues and make corrections within specified levels.
  • Creates, implements, and maintains daily, weekly, and monthly reporting/metrics as needed.
  • Maintains data integrity and consistency.
  • Perform other duties as required.


Work Environment:  

The work environment is primarily in an office setting although there the incumbent will be required to visit customer locations which will likely include a customer’s manufacturing operations.

  • Computer Skills – Ability to use the Microsoft Suite with emphasis in Excel

Communication Skills – They will have clear and concise communication skills in preparation for interactions with fellow team members and communicating with customers.

Job Requirements

Minimum Education and/or Experience Requirements: 

Bachelor’s Degree in Business or related required. Related experience preferred.

Certificates, Licenses, and Registrations: 

A valid driver’s license is required.
